Photographing Gorillas

This is the reason why I love night shift, it gives me time to do a lot of research.

I have been reading up on how to photograph the gorillas that I will be seeing on the side of a volcano int the rain forest in Rwanda. Apparently due to the black fur of the gorillas I will have to use -1/2 to -2 exposure compensation, this is directly different to snow photography. Also I think I may be using high ISO due to my 80-400 only going to f/5.6 i guess a sharp grainy image is better than a blurry image any day.

There are so many different photo opportunities that will be coming my way and it is going to be a challenge capturing it as best I can, but it will be a lot of fun.
