Nikon D7200 sale!
Wow, the Nikon D7200 has been lowered to $696.95 for a new body.
For anyone who is sitting on the fence, this body is supposed to be discontinued. It's a dual card slot DX body whereas the D7500 has a single slot. There might be other dealers offering the same price as B&H for a new D7200 with a USA warranty.

Discontinued, nooooo! I love my D7200's, There really is no alternative for the price. As stated one card slot on the D7500, I shoot weddings so thats no good. I hope there will be a two card version (D7600 maybe) in the future, or could we be seeing a DX decline?

If a had some extra cash laying around, I would buy a couple dozen D7200 and put away as a future investment.

From what I read, Nikon might do away with their entry level bodies (maybe one or both of the D3xxx and D5xxx series). So it's possible the D7500 might be the only consumer DX body other than whatever Pro DX body they offer. Right now that's the D500. But it's still too early to tell. I kind of doubt they will offer another consumer body with dual card slots. Everything I read said Nikon wants to focus more on pro gear than consumer gear.
And with their mirrorless bodies, maybe they feel there won't be as much of a market for consumer DX...who knows?Cindy
