Barrel distortion

Does anyone know if the D90 can get rid of (or at least reduce) barrel distortion on the Nikkor DX 18-55mm VR lens (the cheapo lens)? I downloaded an update last year but am not sure what lenses it covers.

The software that came with it should do it. If there wasn't any, you can download it for free from Nikon.

Isn't there a way of doing it on the camera though?

I don't know where it is in the D90 menus, but you're looking for the "Lens Correction" function.

It's probably in the "Shooting" menu (camera icon).
