    Silent mode.

    It's a pity that you can't use silent mode with a wireless shutter release.

    I like to photograph the birds in the garden on the feeders, using a wireless release, but the camera noise often spooks the birds. Silent mode is only available with live view, and I don't think you can use a shutter release.

    Sorry to write... you think to much...
    Why didn't you try, before writing?
    It does work... just tried, no problem.
    If you don't have a wireless shutter release, you can use 2 sec timer.
    I use a SMDV wireless and wired shutter release.
