Hello, I cannot perform fining tuning with my camera I have it in AF-s normal on live view with a couple if lowel light lighting the target. When I press the ledt side AF button with the movie button, nothing happens. Thanks have tried turning off fine tuning and then back on. I have moved the focus point around in live view. I would appreciate very much any suggestions. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum, does the 810 have auto fine tune like my D500 ?
Live view as far as i know cancels out any front or rear focus problems due to it focusing on the sensor, unless its needed for a auto fine tune which i never had much luck with on the D500,used the old fashioned manual way on my D500.

The D810 does not have the Auot Fine Tune that the D500 does so it needs to be done in conjunction with an outside source. I use FoCal now but have also used the "Dot Tune" method. This cannot be carried out in Live View as you need access to the Menu in order to input adjustments. When I stop learning, I will put my gear away and find something new to do.
