Recently I shot a lot of indoor video with D800. Decided to buy an AC adapter.
Surprisingly I found that AC adapter has 9V output. The battery has only 7V.
The EP-5B (dummy battery) of the adapter inserts to the battery-chamber.
So, both of them, AC adapter and battery use one connector. But one of them provides 9V and the other 7V.
Could somebody explain this?
