Is anyone out there still using their D80? I have mine as a backup second body right now. Planning on using it at the races next month along with my D300.
Would love to see some great D80 shots

Nope. Traded mine in for the D5100

It was a great camera though....my first DSLR....and my first new camera since 1984!

There's a thread somewhere that compares the two.

I much prefer the D5100
Some obvious features...larger LCD, live view, video
Other good things are the built in settings...scenes etc
I'd give it 9+/10
:)

Some purists don't like built in scenarios. I love them. I set up the shot,...letting the relevant scene set the camera, then I note those settings, switch to another mode, usually M, key in those.
That allows me to change things, like the film speed (aka ISO) or the shutter speed.
In the past using this with flash, I discovered how to light the whole room when the normal flash just lit the subject.

I was using a D80 until about 3 months ago. Was my first DSLR, and the perfect camera to start off with. I'm on a D7000 now though, which is miles ahead :p

The D80 was my first digital after a long relationship with a Canon A-1 film camera. My D80 is still my only digital camera and it still rocks. My one complaint is not being able to use the lcd screen as a viewer. I'm an eyepiece believer but the lcd as a view would help in some situations such as close-to-the-ground shots.

Still using mine.... Either gonna replace it with the D300s or D7000 replacement. However it's still a great camera and I'll continue using it.

I actually used mine a lot last weekend. Was shooting my first wedding. Used my D80 and my D300. Both worked great. Only downfall to my D80 is the last of using ISO over 400 or so.

Still using mine as my primary. It's been a great first DSLR and a real workhorse. Haven't owned any other DSLR's yet but I'm getting antsy to upgrade.

You bet, using mine this weekend out at the beach, been a great camera even though I have gotten a D200 and a D7000.

I am taking mine with me on vacation along with my D300 to try and get some great shots. I am going to use the D80 a lot so that it gets some use.
