Errrrrrrr

Well I fired up my D80 this morning and all I got was an ERR message, I think the contacts from the camera to the lens needs cleaning so this is my job when I finish in the morning. (In hindsight I should have brought it into work).

I would hate to be in your shoes Scott. Being without a D80 and forced to use a D800E is a nightmare that I would never want to experience.

3 month back I gave a thought to take my D80 for my walk-around, but when I turned it on I got the Errrrr too. After Internet research I think I lost the D80.

Yes it was, well I have cleaned the contacts and am still getting the same result. I have researched more and it could be the aperture switch thingamabob. Will have a better look on days off.

Have an update, 5 1/2 years later? Just curious if you fixed it. Or, did you set it down somewhere and can't remember where? hehe

From memory it rectified itself... Could have been that the manual Aperture was off the auto setting on the lens. Not 100% sure.
