Hello,
I am a relative noob to DSLRs and just got a D750. When the camera is in live mode is making a loud sound that is caught by the internal microphone whenever I shoot video. I would describe the sound as though it sounds like a processor. I have searched the internet and found a post on reddit that says the sound is "normal" which I am having a hard time believing since I just can't believe that Nikon would release a camera that ruins video (see reddit link below). So I called Nikon and they said the sound is caused by the fact that I have a VR lens (I have a NIKKOR 18-200mm 1:3.5-5.6 G) and that if I got a new lens, the sound would go away. So my question is this in fact true and if so, what lens should I get?
Thanks All
