Interval Shooting on D750

Hello,
I am a mountain bike photographer, and don't normally need to come across things such as interval Shooting... However, a recent project that I have taken on involves oneself being the rider, and I of course want to be the photographer! Is it possible to set the d750 up on a tripod, focus locked on manual with a pre determined SS, f/, and ISO, and have it fire of many shots as it can for say a minute?
I am aware this will create a massive number of shots but that's okay.

I don't have the d750, but I don't think you can just spray continuously in interval mode. Minimum interval is 1 second. But you can do a burst of up to 9 shots in each interval. Keep in mind the interval is not the time between shots, it is the entire cycle, so it needs to slightly exceed the combined shutter times, processing and write times. So you could set up bursts of up to 9 fast shots with a 1 or 2 second interval. Goal would be to have less than 1 second of the interval left before the next burst. If the interval is too short, things mysteriously quit early. With a fast shutter speed, I'm betting 2 seconds covers the cycle with a very small pause between the bursts. So you will miss only a few frames during the pause.
