Too busy getting amazing shots with mine to care...
...
I actually had to send mine *back* in from the 2nd round of recalls - the shutter was locking up on first click every time I put a new lens on. They went ahead and replaced the shutter a second time and replaced the rubber grip for some reason, cleaned, and checked it all out. Works like a new camera now...
When mine went in, the shutter was replaced and the camera was recovered and other things were serviced. I basically got a new camera back, except for the serial number...

That stinks to high heaven! The problem, that is; good that Nikon is going to fix it pro bono.My shutter blew on Friday while shooting a Porsche track event. Only 13+K clicks since voluntary shutter replacement 18 months ago. Got confirmation from Nikon today that it will be a no charge repair. It had been acting funky for a few months, not actuating on the first shot of a session.
My 750 arrived back today. Turn around of only 12 days. And they left a EN-EL15 in it. One strange thing, though. When I sent it off, it has 13+K clicks on it. It came back with 12+K clicks. ?????
Is the serial number the same? Didn't have any problems with my D600 (oil spot issue) and its shutter count.
