    D750 memory card slot 2

    Hi.

Recently noticed the 2nd memory card slot on my D750 not working. Tried several cards that all work fine in card slot 1. Camera lightly used, never dropped and has latest firmware.

    Any ideas?

Can you format a card in Slot 2?

Have you checked in the "card role" menu and made certain that the card 2 is NOT set to "Overflow"?

Remove card 1, take picture, see if it does work.

Doesn't work on any of the options. Cannot format a card in slot 2 either.

I can take a picture with no cards in. As soon as I put any card into slot 2, the word "CARD" flashes on the LCD display..

When you try to format the card in Slot 2, is the option to do that greyed-out?

Yes. Cannot format any card (tried several) in slot 2. They all work fine in 1.

At this point I'm pretty confident you're looking at a hardware fault that's going to require a professional repair.

Looks that way. Wonder how much that costs?

BTW, how did you remove the OLPF from your D750? Make much difference?
