Can't move focus point

Hi all, I have encountered a problem on my D7100, I can't move the focus point from the centre.
Does anyone have any suggestions what I can try ?

I know this could be a good excuse for a new body, but I would rather use this one for a bit longer if I can.

Does it have a lock position on the back switch

Yes it does

And what Mike didn't mention is that the switch around OK button, when set to "L", locks the focus point at the current selection. Move it back to "." and you're golden.

It's always fun with the body (or battery grip) ends up with the switch locked and you don't know why.

I actually lock mine. I used to wonder why sometimes my focus points would start to move around all by themselves. It was my nose.

Haha...I've done that exact same thing and the older I get the longer it takes to nut out the problem

That or use the time delay shutter setting today and then tomorrow try to figure out why the shutter doesn't work immediately when button is pressed.

For the last week I have only been doing macro, and I use manual focus, but like to scroll the focus point to the top rh corner so its out of the way. Been driving me crazy with it stuck in the middle

You can turn off the FP box in the screen menu.

The nose operated multi-selector is a common problem for left eye shooters.
