shutter speed changes in manual mode

this weekend when I was out shooting using manual mode and everytime I took a shot, I noticed the shutter speed changed I had it on 1/200. then after a shot it dropped to 1/50 with a washed out look. then I adjusted it back to where I had it then It went dark to 1/600 so I set it back to where I had it then it shot to where I wanted it.I never had this problem with the camera i just got it in november so it hasn't had any rigoruous use.it wasnt doing this when i first used the camera. is this a problem or can it be corrected please help

Check your settings, you must have bracketing on, and forgot to reset it off.

I just reset it gonna to test it out in the day thanks for the tips

its still doing it uggggghhhhh i did reset it last night smh

Press and hold the BKT button (camera, on top, left) and rotate Main command dial to Zero the number of bracket shots. D7100 manual page 133.
