The desert is a place of spiritual renewal for me and one of my favorite places on earth. These shots were taken over the long Thanksgiving holiday in one of the many high desert regions of Southern California. Most of these were shot with a Nikon 50mm f/1.8G on my D7100 although I think my Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM gets credit for one or two.
