I'm interested in knowing if the Tamron 70-200mmf/2.8 VC will be a good fit for the D7000.
I currently own the AF-S VR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED for a telephoto zoom lens already.

Should I consider this lens?
Any suggestions?

Here are some shots I did with that lens about a week ago on my D7100.

Thanks for sharing the helpful information.

Looks like the version I was thinking of purchasing was the Tamron AF 70-200mm f/2.8 Di LD IF Macro Lens :(
Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 Telephoto Lens

Owning the AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED shooting DX format...would the Tamron be an upgrade or stick with the Nikon?

Any advice will be appreciated! :)
