Should I sell my D90 to get a nearly new D7000?

I met a woman today who bought a D7000 new a couple of years ago, and found she was very intimidated by it.
So much so that she never really used it.(57 total shutter activations) Eventually preferring to keep shooting with
her Nikon CoolPic P100. She has offered to sell (body only) it to me for just $600.00 without the 18-135mm lens that
came with it (shes already sold that) Comes with everything that it came with when it was brand new in the box.
I'm thinking about getting it. Should or shouldn't I?

Thanks, Wiley

Comparing the two I can't find a single reason not to buy this essentially new camera. I don't know the fairness of the price because I just don't know going price but spec for spec I wouldn't hold back.

Just under £400 not bad,a Nikon refurb with 12 months guarantee £499 but you have no idea of its history difficult but think i would go for it.

How many actuations do you have on your D90? This could be a good chance to get out of a body with a high shutter count. eBay shows the D90 going for a decent price. If you got $300-$400 it pays for most of the D7000.

Of course, now that I say that, adorama has refurbs on sale for $729 (90 day warranty). I'd probably go for the refurb with warranty, unless you're really trying to help this woman out.

I just upgraded to a refurb d7000 from a D90 this week. Get it, it is a amazing camera even compared to the D90(which I am keeping my D90 as well, still love it)
