Woohoo! got my first Nikon

Haven't got to manual reading yet as I just got it so I have alot of reading and playing to do When I got home today the sun was just setting and everything had that lovely glow so I hurriedly grabbed my new camera. By the time I wrangled the box and gates the light had passed but I got a couple pics anyways

One thing I noticed was that horses eyes ended up with weird grey-green irises Oh well I'd just thrown it on auto and started clicking to see what I got now I'll have to figure out why and how to stop it

Ahh that explains the lovely sheep pics We used to live in Westyde but now live farther north in PG Today was a dark dreary snowy snowy day so when I came home from picking up my kids and found the light so nice I was so excited. Too bad I missed it. My critters are used to me using them as my subjects

I was thinking PG or Williams Lake. Those are great shots. You are really going to love the D7000
