1500mah v. 1600mah battery (EN-EL3e)

Hello - I have a Jupio EN-EL3e 1600mah in my D700.

I also have a Nikon EN-EL3e 1500mah that I've been using in my D90.

I think they're compatible? Does it make a big difference, the 1500mah or 1600mah?

Thank you!

Welcome! As both batteries are EN-El3e they should be compatible. It is not uncommon for after market manufacturers to advertise their products to have a higher rating. This should in no way affect the usage (higher should last longer). As long as the charger being us is rated for the larger battery and the chemistry is the same there is no reason to foresee any issue.

Already owning two EN-EL4a a charger from my D2x and D2h bodies i bought a BL-3 battery cover for my MB-D10 and never looking back.;)
BL-3 battery covers are fairly inexpensive to real cheap on Ebay.
The knock off cover does work.

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the ride.
We look forward to seeing more posts and samples of your work.

Both should work in either camera. However, many users avoid 3rd party batteries because of their poor performance. you might want to do a google search of "third party camera battery reviews"
