Hi,
Been using my D5500 for a couple of years just fine but recently had thought the viewfinder was getting hard to see clearly - I just assumed I had reached that stage of life where I was going to need reading glasses, and also completely forgot about the diopter correction wheel.
Then my wife started to mention it as well, at which point I remembered about diopter correction. I thought the wheel must have been knocked around accidentally, but when looking at camera I have had to turn it as far to its minus position as it will go, which doesn't seem quite far enough to get it as sharp as I feel it could be.
My question is what has happened that as made this suddenly happen?
My eyes are the same as they have always been, as are my wife's - and it would seem odd that we both go long sighted at the same time.
I am sure a few weeks ago with the diopter control roughly at centre it was fine.
