Hi, I have a nikon d5200 and want to improve the lenses. I'd like to get FX lenses in order to use them with a future full frame nikon. I am interested in landscape and portraits. Could you help me about single and zoom quality FX lenses that I can use with D5200 now and in a future with a full frame ? Thanks

As far as I know you can use all Fx lenses on your DX body. In fact I did just what your intending as far as buying FX lenses knowing in the future you would make the switch.
Although most people would think thats a silly move seeing how the DX body is only going to use the center portion of the lense.

Hi Fede1952 - welcome to the forum.

Your question is VERY wide open (no pun intended) and could give you a whole host of different answers.
Landscapes & portraits alone could warrant two totally different lenses, and that will also depend on your budget too. Do you want to stay with Nikon/Nikkor lenses or are 3rd party open to suggestion too?

Without knowing anything else I would go with;

Landscape:
Fixed; AF 14mm f/2.8 (manual focus only)
Zoom; AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8G ED

Portrait:
Fixed; AF-S 85mm f/1.8G or AF-S 105mm f/2.8G ED-IF
Zoom; AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8G ED

The above are in no way absolute ideal lenses for what you want, for what might be appropriate or anything - merely lenses that fit into possible scenarios that you want to photograph.

Have a search or look around on the sub topics in the forum - there is a massive wealth of knowledge there if you're willing to take the time to have a look.

I would agree with Sam on the lense suggestions. I own both the 14-24 and the 70-200. I also have the 24-70 which is the most used out of the three. Problem with these lenses is the cost. You might want to consider third party lenses of cost is a concern.
