    Shutter Release Priority

I have looked through my owners manual and looked at several websites on how to set my D5100 to shutter release priority, but I have not been able to find anything that works. How do I set my D5100 to shutter release priority?

    Re: Shutter Release Priority

Brent posted the answer. Just to emphasize, on the d5x00 series, the A1 menu only gives a priority choice for AF-C servo mode. In AF-S, you are always in focus priority with no choice for release priority, so make sure you are in AF-C. If this does not help, tell us exactly what you are after, there might be some misunderstanding of the mode.
I must have a really good camera.
