anybody use this bad boy on their 5100?

looking at this and wondering if it will work on a 5100. I am not too concerned about auto focus. just if it will work

it will work just fine but it won't auto-focus.

It will work just fine. Just put in M mode.

If you can't autofocus this one, I'd rather get the 28 mm f2.8 Ai-S lens as it is optically superior to this one.

I was debating 24 or 28 D or 35G and ended up going with AF instead of a tiny bit more field of view, but I needed something w/ AF for sports. D should be fun, but why not go full manual and get E or H series?
