How do I get the actual iso number to display in Auto Iso mode?

I just got my d500 and I've been looking for an answer to this and can't find it so I thought I'd ask here. I have my ISO set to auto ISO with a maximum value. I noticed when I take a picture it does not show the iso value in the viewfinder it just shows the word Auto. Is there a way to get this where it shows the value of the iso that it is shooting? Thank you PS, I went into menu D3 and enabled show ISO but it did not seem to work

I don't know how the the D810 and the D500 compare but when I'm on auto-ISO my D810 displays the actual ISO in both the live-view screen and the Info screen. On my menu, option D8 "ISO Display and Adjustment" is where I can turn it On/Off in the viewfinder and on the top LCD display. This is pre-actuation...

In post actuation, of course it displays as part of the EXIF data that gets displayed in the image preview...

Do a half press of the shutter. Should appear.

Then you can toggle with a half-press and it will change to frames.
