Sam you got a D800 and a D4 as I see below your Avatar.
When do you use each of them and what is for you the biggest difference between them.
Not bad at all Sam. Do you think that the D4 is at least one stop better at higher ISO against the D800?
Yes I do I have compared them after ISO 6400 It's D4 territory
Billy - please do not post anymore high ISO image test. This will put my wallet in the hurt locker.
I see a D4 in your future Glenn
Can you kidnap anyone and hold them for ransom?? Or better still if your wife is like mine. Tell her she should go buy 5 more pairs of shoes While she's busy doing that you purchase the D4 and with all the excitement of her new shoes she wouldn't even notice you have D4. For extra insurance take some photos of her new shoes with the D4 & 85mm because if she says anything " you say look how great these look" ony a D4 can produce such sharp beautiful images!
Excellent images and definitely showcases the low light performance of the D4. Pity I am spending alot of money on my car as otherwise my arm could easily be twisted.

Well Glenn keep in mind these are low resolution downsized images, You could probably get something close from the D800... I did apply some noise reduction in lightroom, I mean it is the best low light camera out there and i am amazed, but the D800 is no slouch either.
Cheers
