Hi,
I have an circa early 90's AF Nikkor 35-135mm lens which works with me film Nikon F801s body.
I am able to use the AF Nikkor lens with the D3400 body in manual mode (shutter setting thru the body is working, but aperture is not and only controllable on lens itself, ISO is changeable).
Thru the body menu, I am able to select ISO Auto Off or On. But when I set this to On, ISO value does not really change, when pointed to varying light conditions. It seems that the Auto ISO can be set to On in the menu, but does not really work with this old lens.
Is anybody able to make the D3400 ISO Auto really work with an old AF Nikkor?
TIA,
