I'm on a bit of a budget for Christmas, so I bought a Nikon D3200 on ebay with a shutter release error with the hopes that I would be able to fix it fairly easily. Prior to buying, I looked up several fixes including unsticking a stuck mirror, and taking the bottom off to regrease the motor wheel and felt pretty confident that I could fix it. However, this camera seems to have a unique problem and I can't find any relevant help posts online. The mirror doesn't get stuck - it raises completely when the shutter is clicked. And I've read that the bottom of the Nikon D3200 is different than other Nikons in that the motor wheel isn't accessible from the bottom - so attempting that solution seems useless.
I knew I was taking a risk buying a broken camera, but I was wondering if anyone here may have any insight on what the problem could be and how I may fix it.
