yesterday I went on a shoot and while I was looking into the viewfinder the display was dim and I could just barely make out what was displayed...it was a bright day, but not that bright. so to look at my data I looked at the lcd to see what was there and kept on shooting. when I got home I looked inside the viewfinder and it was normal...can someone tell me what is going on

check the hoodman eye cups they help. Bright days are a problem, you see a nice shot put your camera to your eye and you cannot see the data. You may try a dark towel and view the info on the display. You look like mr adams and his view camera but you get the shot.

Nikonpup, Cleaver name, I already have Hoodman eye cup on the camera, and that reason I posted this, normally it is pretty dark in there, the text looks like some had turned the dimmer switch down to low. thanks for the input Kas .
