Did you use the Spherical, cylindrical, or perspective option? Maybe that is the key, I dunno'.

I'm not finding that in LR CC (non classic) program.
My choices (that I saw) were HDR merge, Panorama merge and HDR Panorama merge.
It's not a big deal, ICE works great.
