How to burn both videos & pics to one disc?

My church wants to create a disc that contains both a slide show as well as still images, but the person who usually burns the video discs says Windows removed the feature to burn movies. Is there some type of software that will allow both to be burned to one disc at the same time?

Windows 10 comes without some of the functionality we've come to expect, such as Windows Media Center, DVD Playback and Windows DVD Maker but dragging, dropping and burning will still get the job done. You won't be able to add things like menus and title-screens without using a third-party application, however.

You should be able to just drag the files from their present location to the disc.

I think they wanted to use Movie Maker which is the program they used to made the slideshow. If they drag the slide show to the folder where the disc will be burned, will it burn with whatever settings they used to create it (such as the timing between images, etc)?

Somehow I missed your post initially. I just tried burning 2 videos and a folder of photos, and everything worked fine. When the church created this slide show in Movie Maker, I can't remember if they added text to the video or not. But I just sent them a message to see if they will try out the drag and drop method. I don't have their video to try out myself though. Thanks. :)

I don't know about MM, but it sounds like you're wanting to burn the project, not the finished output file. Much like the sidecar file used by photo editing apps.

You'll need to produce a finished file (.WMV, MP4, etc) first, then burn that.

Thanks...I will relay all the info I've received on this! :)
