NX2 and Picture Control updates

Has anyone played with, and/or implemented the Picture Control Utility???? Can you give an over-view beyond what Nikon gives on the Picture Control Utility download page...??? Specifically, how you find it useful, if you do? And what exactly are you doing with it...

I had a look at it and what it appears to me is about the same as the picture controls in cam but instead of the pre-defined you can create your own. I quit using those the moment I started shooting RAW so I didn't bother further with the PCU.

I might have missed what else it can do since I didn't spend that much time with it.
