Photo Organizer in PSE

How many of you use the "Photo Organizer" in PS or PSE? I only use the editing part of the software but now I'm thinking I should be using the Organizing part also.

The organizer back in PSE version 9 did not work for me, it was horribly slow every time I tried to use it. I never figured out why it would not run properly. In version 10 it worked perfectly fine on the same computer, but I already hated it from the slowness and I was comfortably using Lightroom organizer by then. I really like Lightroom. I make an effort to tag images in bulk as I download them and if needed I add further tags later on. I might quickly tag the whole batch as 'lake', then go back later and add additional tags, like bird, duck, turtle, etc. If there are people I know in the shot, I'll add their name too. I find it very easy to find stuff. I can also search by lens or camera, etc.

Sorry, I didn't mean to make this a Lightroom fanboy post. I use PSE only occasionally and i honestly have not even tried the organizer since version 10. Lightroom organizer works for me and that is my main editing program anyway. I guess there is facial recognition in PSE organizer. That might be interesting to some, but I rather identify my own peeps the old fashioned way. Its just something else to churn along in the background and slow things down.

I use elements (currently 12) to edit but when I tried the organizer, on a previous version, I hated it and stuck with what I been using for Years (Thumbsplus)

I use the organiser on PSE. I dont use it to its fullest potential, but I will be doing as I get more time.
