Is it possible to manually set the sequence number for import in Lightroom?

Hello,

my sequence number is over 45000 after transferring shotsfrom D90 from 5 years. Now I need to start with LR but would rathernot start at 00001. Can it be done?

I did discover where sequence # can be set though it resets to 1 each import. And image # does not reset but it seems that it cannot be initialised.

Since posting this I hav obtaind ViewNX which allows me to import as I used to so now this post is less urgent..

On the right side of the import window, when renaming files, you can click on and change the start number.
