Photoshop Filters

I have been searching the world wide wonder web for some time looking for free filter/action plugins for CS6, but as yet have not come across anything half decent - has anybody found any that I have missed?

You might wanna describe what/how you're defining the word "filter" as it relates to CS6...

Sorry, yes that was quite an open ended question - eg photo effects, time saving actions for bulk edits etc

You might also want to widen your search to scripts also. One of my favorites in Frameshop. It is for adding a border to your photos. It also will add your copyright, title or EXIF. It will also re-size the photo and save a copy to the directory of your choice.

It's likely easier to find free stuff for Lightroom. Occasionally you can find free downloads of older versions of software. Someone posted a while back about a free download of a DxO Film Pack (Version 3?) that works with Photoshop. I just dug it up. It says free through October 31, but give it a shot.

Just tried it and it sent me an activation code, so do it now before they realize they're still giving it away.

If you use Photoshop the best thing you can get is Nic tools by Google. Google Nik Collection

Everyone who tries it is hooked. The things it can do is amazing.

Thanks, just had a look bit pricey for me though at the moment the link to the carp dont seem to be working?

I have Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 and Color Efex Pro 2 but unfortunately I had to pay for them but worth every penny!!! In my opinion. As far as free one you might look in Adobe/Photoshop forums some of those places with put filters up that you could download and use. Just a thought.
