Suggest a printer

Evening all,
I'm trying to hunt around for a good A4 home photo printer.
I was hoping to find something non-multifunction.
Brand doesn't concern me.

I have to agree... What's your price range, but also What are your printing requirements.
If you're looking for 4x6 up to 8x10 then almost any mid range printer will work. (epson, hp, canon).
Larger prints than that, look into the Large Format Printers, but now you're talking big money.

I have a Canon Pixma Pro-9500 Mk II that makes beautiful prints up to 13x19. It uses 8 different ink cartridges, which is much preferable to just one. You need only replace the ones which are low rather than the entire printer cartridge. They can be found on Fleabay for $250 or less. I got mine used 4 years ago and it is still going strong.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
I'm thinking something a little........ well, cheaper :)
A3 isnt something I need. I have access to that kind of printing at work; this is purely for home. Really just 6x4's, 8x6's, and occasional A4 print.
Something in the 4 colour cart range.

Then stick with Epson. They have some very good inexpensive printers. We were just hoping to spend your money. it's good for the economy don't you know.

Whilst wandering thru JB Hifi the other day I picked up an Epson XP-700.
Already run a few 6x4's and A4's thru it and I'm pretty impressed with the results.
