Some how my reply ended up in a blog post... Oh well. I love these photos. They are great. The slides have held up well..

Thanks. Yes, they look great -- good ol' Kodachrome. The most prized slide I found is an impromptu family portrait from 1939 of my Grandfather, Grandmother, Dad and my two Aunts on the front porch at their home. The composition is excellent and being on Kodachrome, it looks like it was taken yesterday.
