The Veterans Memorial Bridge, Cleveland

For the first time in more than 4 years, the city opened the Veterans Memorial Bridge for a public viewing. This bridge was a double-decker at one time with cars on the top and electric streetcars on the lower level. Streetcars vanished in 1954 but the bridge remains for thousands of cars entering and leaving downtown Cleveland. The tour of the lower section was very interesting and afforded views of Cleveland I had never seen. There's lots of photos divided into 3 groups.... pre tour, tour, and post tour of the bridge's interior.
