im with you there dave. I dont want to rush out and just shoot something that vaguely fulfills the theme, rather wait and get something which is pleasing. maybe that in some weeks I cover many themes, other weeks nothing at all. still got another 51 weeks so no rush

The exif is misleading as the flash was fired manually set at 1/64th power to freeze the droplets.
The room was dark and the shutter opened for 3 sec to give a chance of catching the drop.
Used my Raspberry Pi to control the flash and drop release timing.

Thanks, I inverted the centre column on my tripod and had the camera upside down about 10 cm off the ground.
Rain stopped play though so didn't get to try other angles.
