Compared to typical Canadian prices for D7100 £499 is a good price but nothing to get excited about - typically retailers are selling the D7100 for about $950-$1050 CDN$ and with exchange rate a $1.90/£ thats about £500-550. But I understand UK pricing is at a premium. With the shrinking of the global market how long before retailers have to start being competitive internationally? I have found that for some items for my other hobby (model railways) I can get products less from Hutton in the UK. Of course it does not apply to anything you plug in (but model trains run on DC and UK models run fine on my system).
