I see from the pictures youre not at all impulsive and very organized with marking parts so you can reassemble hahaha.

The final shot is a mess on purpose. I had a video camera on a tripod with the screen facing me, and I would hold the lens up to the camera for each screw and piece removed, in case I could fix and reassemble it.

Your thread about the Taiwan repair was very good. Had not seen that.

Man... I love takin' things apart....

In this modern era, product designers seem to thrill at eschewing screws and instead using hidden snaps and slides on everything to save money on production lines. I usually break the thing, then have that "oh, so that's how it's assembled" moment afterward. :(

I did my old 50/2, but the pickle was figuring out the sweet spot for the focus tubes to screw into one another since the whole assembly relies on that bit. There are no marking or anything either.
