Too dark for easter?

Took these of my daughter today. Its a rainy day and only have 1 speed light. They were a little brighter but I reduced exposure a little bit. My girlfriend was complaining that they were too dark for easter. What do you guys think?

Just my amature opinion, a I have no experience in portraits.

The first one looks a bit under exposed, however I like the 3rd shot a lot.
I played with the first one in lightroom a little.

I like them as they are inluding the lighting, nicely frames the subject with the light falloff around the edges.
photo 2 for me is the best in terms of lighting and composition, 1 and 3 are ok in illumination but composition not as good.
Im not sure what features are in lightroom/photoshop as I use corel PSP X5 and theres a really nice feature in that to adjust the fill light and that may help a lot in reducing the darkness for your GF.
How about in grayscale? or perhaps number 4 in selective colour?

Thanks for sharing though they are good photos

Get rid of the vignette effect and see if that makes your GF happy.

The exposure is spot on to my eye so I'm betting it's the vignette you've applied she is objecting to.
