I do not think that this response is aggressive at all. He gave a good suggestion and you should thank him instead of chastising him.

What I would suggest is that you start your own "Travel photography" under the General photography Forum and then we could make it a "sticky" (yellow post that always stay on top).

This should be fine if you want others to contribute as well. If not just title it "ed4banger's travel photos".

I just started a "travel photography" thread. It's under the General photography forum and you have to scroll down under the different sub-categories to access it. Sorry I'm not sure if I have the permission to create a new sub-forum section. If I do, I don't know how.
