couple from yesterday's swell at PJ Lighthouse

Have 2 full CF to go thru.....the other CF has closer action with more skilled riders 400 shots.....no time today to sort thru and process.

HRStrat... Great surf pics. Surfing is one of my favorite sports to shoot! I just don't get to do it often enough. I went to San Diego on a day when the swells were supposed to be 10' and they turned out to be 2-3 footers. :(... Took some shots anyway lol...

This is a world class pic IMHO outstanding! Thanks for sharing it! What lens camera combo did you use? Processing?

I have a D7000. I only have the 2 kit lenses that came with the camera (18-55mm & 55-200mm) and I used the 55-200mm here (handheld). For post, I use Photomatix to get the colors to pop, and then crop. Occasionally I will use a polarized filter, but I did not here.
