Thanks Marilynne, first thing I learnt is to check the pics zoomed up and not wait till you see them on the pc? I went with the idea of taking different settings and then seeing what was best, next Time

i tried to shot low light long exposures, not a great lot of experience here.

only grabbed a few today as i went down to San Diego to overhaul my fish tank in work, i emptied the tank and added new stones, did a water change and will do one Monday morning as soon as i get in, think i finally found out what caused it. I meant to take a before during and after pic but forgot, duh! i will take one on Monday.

i bought a blue Angel for my tank at home so i changed the moon to suit.

some from Lake Skinner today, still a huge shortage of large birds, but got in my 3 hour walk.

i never noticed what the hawk was on till i got home, i only shot this to see what it was

a youngster of some sort.

i could hear the eagle sound then it flew between me and the sun, by the time i picked it up it was by me, looks like a young bald eagle?

on the way out of the Lake i spotted this, he was digging away at something?

a few Canadian geese??

as soon as they see you they fly off, i had spotted this one and peaked around the corner, i fired of 2 shots and he was gone
