Sunset tonight. The first is about 1/2 hour before sunset and the second is about 10 minutes after sunset.

i like both shots, my preference would be a little less ground silhouette in the first and some in the second.

These are actually a sunrise too, but I thought I would post them here, as it could just as well be a sunset.




These are my first attempts at shooting in the dark with my D90. I didn't get the focus quite sharp.

I like this scene you've been using and I can't help but wonder what an image like this would look like if you placed someone, possibly an attractive (read - curvy) woman, leaning with a straight arm against one of the trees so that you can only see her silhouette? Do you see what I'm suggesting? Maybe have her looking straight on at the viewer and using her hand against one of the trees and her other hand on her waist so that her elbow is making a sideways "V"? Maybe somewhere near the sun but not directly in front of it?

There was a little reflection, because I took this from a hotel window and did not get up close enough to the glass to prevent it. I still love it.
