I'm feeling so gypped because I totally missed tulip season this year. Seems they bloomed early and then the weather trounced them. Plus we traveled the last week of April. It hailed when we got home and that finished them off. Picture from last year. I hate that I have to wait a whole 'nother year!

After a weekend with a rental D500, I knew it was the way to go. This is my first weekend with my own D500; received it with the included MB-D17 grip (Nikon offering through the rest of this month, I think...best way to get an overpriced grip at no charge!)
Picked up 2 lenses, the well recommended 17-55mm f/2.8; and until a much faster long zoom is in the budget, a nice deal on the 70-300mm VR.
So up the CA coastline this morning; at the Pigeon Point Lighthouse area...
