Well she has it correct. In the US the Belted Galloway cow is commonly referred to as the Oreo Cookie or Oreo Cow. Nice picture.

Taken a couple of years ago - while out quadding on our local rails-to-trails Iron Horse Trail - see those signs warning of livestock all the time - first time we had to ride through a herd.

We use to see cows all over the place, now it's rare. Wonder how long these will be around. The new homes behind the wall are selling for high $200s to mid $400s.

Thanks for asking. Had a fireplace malfunction. Sooted the house. Every room was coated. Clean and repaint, washing cabinets. Insurance company was really helpful. Lion share done. Hope to get out more and post more soon. Ed
