Thanks I have done more since this last one and this was just to show that we all have to start from somewhere.Okay. Flash needs to be off the camera or higher. TTL at weddings as far as I am concern is hit or miss because of other type of ambient lighting, white dress etc. So need to learn how to use a flash in manual mode. When I started it was #5 bulb and 24 exposures, egad I dated myself at least no flash powder! Electronic flash was a Spiratone that could run AC or 3 or 4 odd 46.5 batteries that could give you a shock. I counted how many feet to take a shot of the brides maids as they came up. 10 feet at F8 with a shutter speed of 1/125 of sec or less depending on ambient light. Now I put the flash on a light stand and use a transmitter mounted on the camera and sometimes the flash is mounted on the camera. Useless for ceilings over 12 foot remember that!
