Marilynne's Wetlands and Other Stuff - 2024

We walked over a mile looking for the Sandhill Crane and her colts and never found them. We ran into a friend of ours and she said she saw them on the entrance road. We didn't see them as we were leaving. We stopped at the farm stand at the end of the road and bought some veggies/herbs. We decided to check out the field across from the parking lot.
BTW, dad was run over by a vehicle in a 15-mph zone. Hope they fined the driver!!

Next stop was to see the juvie Eagles in Boca. We got permission from the homeowner to cross his property to the canal. He told us the eagles have been nesting there for the last seven years. After they're gone, ATT comes and removes the nest and cleans up the tower.
