These blokes bit and clawed each other for about an hour in our camp at Indian Head in the Crowdy Bay National Park..The one at the back looked like he had changed his skin recently..

They had a lot of wounds by the time it was over..

I'm no expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once.

That looks like a juvi snapping turtle to me. The adults can get real nasty.

How big was he?

Is that one or two? If it's one, that's one really huge gator!

That's one 'gator. He was probably a 5 footer.

This was taken at Brazos Bend State Park, one of the best wildlife venues in Texas IMHO. Gators are everywhere. You really have to keep an eye out.
